SECOND DAY IN BILBAO

Bilbao is a really a fantastic city, full of corners to explore and of fun. Leaving the bad weather that greeted us when we arrived and finally heated by a summer sun, during morning we dedicated us exploring the surroundings of the city, especially the area of ​​Portugalete, where stands the first bascule bridge ever built. A truly magnificent iron structure. In the afternoon, then, after the usual shopping-tour we ventured through the narrow streets of Casco Viejo, where the holiday atmosphere dominates. Here are just rivers of wine and beer accompanied by delicious food. Amazing!

Bilbao è una davvero una città fantastica, ricca di angoli da scoprire e di puro divertimento. Abbandonato il brutto tempo che ci ha accolti al nostro arrivo e finalmente riscaldati da un sole estivo ci siamo dedicati, durante la mattinata, alla scoperta dei dintorni della città, in particolare la zona di Portugalete, dove sorge il primo ponte mobile mai costruito. Una struttura in ferro davvero stupenda. Nel pomeriggio, poi, dopo il solito shopping-tour ci siamo avventurati per i vicoli del casco viejo dove l'aria di festa domina. Qui solo fiumi di vino e birra accompagnati da ottimo cibo. Uno splendore!
