RECIPE: VIOLET SOUP

Put an unexpected day off from work to share only with yourself, a meeting with an unconventional  vegetable,  a lot of creativity to invest and here come a purple soup. Yes, because even on the table beauty is important and trust me that this recipe is delicious as well as beautiful.

Here's what you need to make your purple soup:

  purple cauliflower

Shallot

Bagels to crumble

Roquefort

Oil (a good one: mine is produced by my dad)

Salt 

Make it is very simple: boil the cauliflower,  meanwhile chop the shallot and cook it with some oil. Once the cauliflower is cooked cut it coarsely and transfer it into the pan with the sauce and let it cook for a few more minutes. Blend all the ingredients, add salt and transfer in a dish. Add the Roquefort, the crumbled bagels and the oil. And enjoy!

Mettete un giorno di ferie inaspettato da condividere solo con voi stesse, un incontro con un ortaggio tutt'altro che convenzionale, una buona dose di creatività da investire ed ecco nascere una zuppa viola. Si, perché anche a tavola l'occhio vuole la sua parte e vi assicuro che questo piatto oltre che bello è anche delizioso.

Ecco cosa vi serve per creare la vostra zuppa viola:

 Cavolfiore viola

Scalogno

Taralli  da sbriciolare

Roquefort

Olio (di quello buono: il mio lo produce mio papà)

Sale secondo il vostro gusto

Farla è davvero semplicissimo: fate bollire il cavolo, nel frattempo preparate un trito con lo scalogno e fatelo imbiondire. Una volta cotto tagliatelo grossolanamente e trasferitelo nella padella con il soffritto e fatelo insaporire per alcuni minuti. Frullate il tutto, aggiustate di sale e impiattate. Aggiungete il Roquefort spezzettato, i taralli sbriciolati e l'olio. E buon appetito!
